Facebook Hack: How To Check If Your Personal User Data Was Leaked In Recent Facebook Hack

Last month, Facebook revealed that data belonging to 50 million user accounts was hacked and stolen, in the social giant's largest security breach.

Now Facebook is claiming that that number was worst case scenario, and that the actual number of accounts jeopardised is closer to 29 million.

That's not all. Facebook is also coming clean and letting its users know the extent of their account breach, if they were affected at all in the 29 million hack that took place in September.

Hackers made away with a lot of sensitive data of Facebook users, including (and not limited to) phone numbers, device information, gender, relationship status, location, and others.

There's an easy way to find out if it was, thanks to Facebook's atonement efforts. Visit Facebook's Help Center page, while you're logged into your Facebook account.

That page will tell you whether or not your data was stolen, and what kind of data in particular hackers made away with successfully.
