It's not everyday you see a billionaire asking an adolescent for advice, but that kind of stuff is exactly what Twitter is about. Earlier today, Tesla's Elon Musk, and professional gamer Tfue briefly chatted online about gaming, and the 20 year-old's followers are freaking out.
Tfue, or Turner Tenney as he was born, is a member of Faze clan. They're a professional esports brand with teams for everything from CS:Go, to Call of Duty, to even newer entries like Overwatch and Fortnite.
Clearly pleased to be hear a response from a man who's essentially becoming a modern day pop culture icon, Tfue pledged, "I'm gonna buy a Tesla now because you replied. Of course, it's even possible Musk wasn't joking. Sure, he's not likely going to make special effort to provide Tenney with a better connection, but he does already have a project in the works that's trying to indirectly do that.
SpaceX's Starlink initiative aims to do just that, but putting almost 12,000 microsatellites into geosynchronous orbit around the Earth. A small fraction of those are expected to come online over the US by 2025, providing the country with high-speed broadband.
Musk however didn't waste his chance to chat with a recognised gaming professional. After Tfue's comment on buying a Tesla, the tech magnate proceeded to ask what games might be put into the company's electric car. Aside from the Atari classics they already have.
