97-Year-Old World War II Veteran Receives High School Diploma in US.

A Philadelphia man, Charles Leuzzi has received his high school diploma on Sunday from the School District of Philadelphia.

Leuzzi is a 97 year old, World War II veteran.

He was forced to leave the school to support his family during his junior years, and was drafted to fight in World War II as a teen.

His heroism earned him two purple hearts & four bronze medals, and now Leuzzi has added a high school diploma to his achievements.

Charles told that he had to wait a long time, but finally he got the diploma.

Leuzzi is congratulated by the friends and relatives agter receiving an honorary high school diploma.

When he was asked about going to college, he says, yes!, might as well...as I don’t have anything else to do.
